Special Note from Jennifer Knapp, TCMzone Tour Representative

In May 2016 I had the opportunity to represent TCMzone and lead a group with nearly 30 herbalists and Acupuncturists to Beijing and Shanghai. This was an authentic cultural exploration of Chinese herbaljennifer-photo medicine and Acupuncture. We were given access to areas of Chinese medicine that many never get to see. Attendees were able to learn through clinical rounds at a truly integrated hospital and given daily lectures by doctors and professors on topics ranging from autoimmune disorders to gastroenterology. When not immersed in the TCM training, I took the group on guided sightseeing tours including Great Wall in Beijing and Jade Buddha Temple in Shanghai. Our attendees have described this trip as a “once in a life time”, “unforgettable” and “eye-opening” experience. We are proud to have created such a successful tour and we are so excited to be offering another trip in 2017! Read more…

Experience the China Training that Practitioners Praise:

“This was literally one of the BEST trainings I have ever been on in my life, mainly because it opened my eyes to how TCM is being effectively integrated to care for patients, and we learned first-hand from doctors. Also, TCMzone did an excellent job coordinating us all. ” – Michelle S. (San Francisco, CA)

“This was an amazing trip that exceeded my expectations! I learned so much about how truly integrative medicine, using traditional & modern herbal formulas, is practiced in a hospital setting. We sat in lectures given by doctors who are each specialist’s in their field, and we covered a broad range of different specialties.”- Sheila D. (Ashland, OR)

Quotes from past attendee Dr. Michael Tierra, L.Ac.:

“TCMzone provided a wonderful experience for my wife, Lesley, myself and approximately 24 of our students to tour and study Chinese medicine in China. We hadpic-Dr.Michael.Tierra fine accommodations and experienced the remarkable integration of TCM in one of the leading hospitals in Shanghai where our mornings consisted of in patient and out patient hospital rounds with expert TCM doctors and wonderful classes in the afternoon. TCMzone assisted us in planning the perfect program of topics, provided wonderful interpreters. I highly recommend them as the source for such study tours. Everyone had a great and deeply enriching experience.” – Michael Tierra, L.Ac., O.M.D., Founder and Director of the East West Course of Planetary Herbology
